Us

A lonely girl wanting fun
With just a little room to run

A lonely boy white with fright
And their kiss high in the night

She slowly got to know this boy
Strange, he didn't show much joy

Not like others she had known
He had a style all of his own

Wild ideas, strange and bright
He was her gallant knight

At times so very shy
Yet not ashamed to cry

He told her of his deepest love
She wore his heart just like a glove

This awkward and ungainly pest
She gladly claimed, one more conquest

He didn't make a single sound
As she dragged him all around

Then one night he got mad
And she discovered what she had

What to do, now comes the pain
Bitter tears, they fall like rain

A lonely boy she can't date
Cause her desire might not wait

Too out going for her style
She's had enough for quite awhile

His life's a little bit too fast
She'd rather live hers in the past

Just let her be a simple friend
At least she'll know how it will end
