Sweet Sorrow
Sweet sorrow lives the past
That hopes could ever last
Begin to see too late
A friendship turn to hate
Hurts that have been done
To such a gentle one
Who never could be wrong
A heart without a song
To try too fast, too hard
Leaves one old and scarred
To look within to find
Why I've been denied
To see things no one can
Makes for a lonely man
When you learn that dreams
Like clouds have golden seams
Like clouds they'll fade away
On a windy day
Never fight again
Seek only for a friend
How it will always end
Unless each one can bend
That hopes could ever last
Begin to see too late
A friendship turn to hate
Hurts that have been done
To such a gentle one
Who never could be wrong
A heart without a song
To try too fast, too hard
Leaves one old and scarred
To look within to find
Why I've been denied
To see things no one can
Makes for a lonely man
When you learn that dreams
Like clouds have golden seams
Like clouds they'll fade away
On a windy day
Never fight again
Seek only for a friend
How it will always end
Unless each one can bend
